As volcanic mountains smolder in the distance, a large figure dominates the landscape. At top right, a helmed head rests atop a dark, articulating torso. Large feet are angular in shape at the bottom of the image. Molten energy appears to course through the carapace. A fiery neck holds aloft the rectangular head, displaying a small face (looking down and left) of a feminine demeanor. Her face is similar to the face of the center-right figure in the Image “Eye of Apu.”
Haephstina Vulkanova is engaged in activity. Her right arm, spade shaped, rounded at the tip, appears to push back or create a channel on the ground, with the volcanic mountains in the distance. This channel may flow with water or molten matter. It is an example of terraforming behavior. Her left arm culminates in a molten, multi-purpose self-arranging tool. This tool is held close to her body and is pointed and slightly conical. Other figures populate the scene at lower left and under her right arm. Beneath her spade hand the flowing white pool leads to a figure of a female. Alternately, at the far right, another macro-sized shadowed figure can be ascertained. This figure has an arm and hand device, regrettably blurry. It covers part of the right-hand figure This appears to be an arm or a form of appendage. The stark colors of this image mirror the dimly lit, soot-laden, gritty volcanic environment. Haephstina Vulkanova also appears in the Triptych Video series as the left side of the Triptych.
