This image is the left edge in a triptych. The two Images “Hasty but Dignified” (center image) and “Observe and Retreat” (right edge image) describe an evacuation amidst a blazing inferno of conflict. The left edge of the panorama displays the face of the giant soldier gazing right. An entity to the lower right is striding forward. The right arm of the lower, smaller soldier is striking the forehead and helmet area of the giant soldier. In stride, the smaller defending unit poses ready to fling his left arm forward into the face of the giant soldier. The lower defender’s jaws are open and white light issues forth.

At center top, a conflagration of cataclysmic proportions continues. The central blackened figure (upper center) wears a helmet and suit, using a device to deliver destruction. One green eye peers to the right from under the helmet and just above a breathing apparatus. Multi-colored wires and tubes cover the outer suit components. He can withstand the heat in the midst of the pyre. Perhaps the suit conduits activate coolant or supply power to the weapons. Observe the shadow elements in the fire to discern more operators. Below the giant soldier head, an array of figures flee a pursuing entity that envelops some of them with a molten plasma energy. Note the tiny entity at the mouth of the giant soldier.

The striding body of the defending small soldier serves at least two functions. This dark central core also takes the form of the head of the huge, bulbous-eye entity shown depicted in the Member’s Image “Roadwork Pacification.”

Viewing subtle shading requires proper color support. The TIFs for this image are both framed with black (Kedge) and the so named WKedge tif (displayed) has a white inner border surrounded by a black frame. The JPG has a thick white frame.
