Hasty but Dignified Reinforces the narrative of Observe and Retreat. A huge molten beast destroys the city and countryside at center top. Below, a conjoined line of five shapes plods onward over the horizon. The Observer, at far right, peers from behind. The Observer may be part of the retreat. Or, this could be a disjunction of allies. The relentless onslaught of the anfractuous enemy erupts the environment around them. A suited entity appears to wield irresistible heat weapons. The survivors are driven before the catastrophe. At the sight of it, the soldier’s face at left reveals both implacable resolve and wretched misery. All images have black edge.
