A huge leviathan, Techrock Maelstrom, accompanied by smaller versions of the rock-built entity, confronts and impedes a dark figure. The dark figure impresses itself on the Earth. It cuts a trail in the surface it traverses. The sweeper is an eradication/implantation unit seeking life forms for transference to alternate worlds or seeking environmental parameters for life form transplantation. It moves on feet-like appendages as well as a tripod base. The tripod allows for quick rotation and easy surface manipulation. The Techrock is a native life form resisting a relentless assault.
